ring(Action) -- get ring of object acted upon

Synopsis

Function: ring
Usage:

ring(A)
Inputs:
- A, an instance of the type Action,
Outputs:
- a polynomial ring, associated with the object acted upon

Description

Returns the polynomial ring associated with the object being acted upon.
