Layered -- Option for matrixFactorization

Synopsis

Usage:

matrixFactorization(ff,m,Layered => true)
Inputs:
- Check, a Boolean value,

Description

Makes matrixFactorization use the "layered" algorithm, which works for any MCM module, but returns something non-minimal if the module is not a "high syzygy" in a suitable sense. Default is "true". Note that when the module is a high syzygy, Layered=> false is much faster.
