Parallel computation in $Macaulay2$ is under development. Unexpected errors may be printed to output while computing a pseudo-witness set - however, the loop will still run, and an answer will still be returned.
If the number of paths to track is too low (i.e. less than or equal to $20$), then parallel computing will not be used.
