bertiniCheck -- Checks whether the numerical version of the algorithms using Bertini works

The functions Chern, Segre, CSM and Euler have the option CompMethod, which can be any of ProjectiveDegree, PnResidual, or bertini. The option "bertini" uses the external program Bertini, which might not be installed on the user's system. The function bertiniCheck checks whether Bertini is properly installed and configured.
